Hi there, everyone! Here is our Flocknote for this week!
1) Second Collection: This weekend, we will be taking up a 2nd collection at both Masses to help with the relief from the earthquake & tropical storm that recently affected Haiti. This request, to all parishes of the Diocese, was made while I was away & before Hurricane Ida hit. Though I can't say for sure, I would imagine that we will be taking up something for the hurricane relief efforts in the not too distant future.
3) Living Rosary: Over at St. Patrick's we will once again be gathering to pray our Living Rosary for Life this year on Wednesday, Oct. 6th, @ 6:30 pm in the Church. You are invited to join us!
4) Anniversary Breakfast & Tickets: Don't forget to turn in your RSVP forms for our Anniversary Breakfast & also your tickets for our parish raffle. To help us plan, we ask that breakfast forms be turned in by September 12th. Tickets can be turned in up until the day of the breakfast.

5) Labor Day: On this Labor Day weekend, here is a prayer that we might pray:
On this weekend, when we rest from our usual labors, loving Father, we pray for all who shoulder the tasks of human labor—in the marketplace, in factories and offices, in the professions, and in family living. We thank you, Lord, for the gift and opportunity of work; may our efforts always be pure of heart, for the good of others and the glory of your name. We lift up to you all who long for just employment and those who work to defend the rights and needs of workers everywhere. May those of us who are now retired always remember that we still make a valuable contribution to our Church and our world by our prayers and deeds of charity. May our working and our resting all give praise to you until the day we share together in eternal rest with all our departed in your Kingdom as you live and reign Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
