24th Sunday of Ordinary Time
9/12/21
Dear St. Joseph Parish Family,
Today Religious Education for children and the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults begin. If your children need religious education (ie: are not going to Catholic schools), it’s not too late to sign up. Also, if you know someone who desires to become Catholic, or you still haven’t received the sacrament of Confirmation, it’s not too late to join RCIA.
On the construction front, the parish hall will be completed soon. Yes, I know I’ve been saying that all summer! Currently we’re waiting on the windows and the bathroom stalls. Once those are in we can open the new hall. We’ll begin to start new ministries to host in our new parish hall, so pray about how God is calling you to take part. I’m excited about all the possibilities that are about to open up at St. Joseph’s!
Also, more and more parishioners are returning to the city and coming back to St. Joseph’s– it’s been great to see parishioners again and hear how they’ve been holding up during these strange times. I look forward to seeing all of you I haven’t seen since March of ’20 and we’re keeping you in our prayers.
God Bless,
Fr. Boniface
