WOMEN ON A JOURNEY'S STUDY OF JOHN PAUL II'S "LETTER TO WOMEN" Thursdays, beginning September 23, 9:00 AM
St. Tom’s “Women on a Journey” returns on Thursday, Sept. 23 for an 8-week Endow study of the “Letter to Women” by St. John Paul II. Meetings will take place on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. in the Siena Rooms downstairs. Women of all phases of life – both resident parishioners and student parishioners – are invited to join us as we grow in fellowship and discover God’s plan for our unique femininity. Although the group will be led by Molly Long & Colleen Duffy, please contact John Strong, john@boilercatholics.org, for more information and to register.
"ACTS: THE SPREAD OF THE KINGDOM" BIBLE STUDY
Starts the week of September 27
Select a Session: Mondays at 7:00 p.m. (in-person - Siena Rooms) and Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. (Zoom)
Acts is the story of how a few Christians, empowered by the Holy Spirit, were chosen to bring Christ and the Good News to the ends of the earth. They faced secular forces, internal strife, and hostile crowds, and despite all of this, they brought the kingdom of God to a broken world and the love of God to the hearts of men.
Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom traces how the gospel witness spread outward in waves from Jerusalem and reveals how the seeds of Church structure and authority took root. Presenter Jeff Cavins shows how the joys and struggles of the early Christians in living the life of Christ apply to us today. Acts: The Spread of the Kingdom will help you see your place in the Church as a disciple of Christ.
This bible study starts the week of September 27 and is offered in two sessions: Mondays at 7:00 p.m. (in-person) and Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. (Zoom). If you are a resident parishioner or student parishioner and would like to join us for this 20-week study (10 weeks in the Fall and 10 weeks in the Spring), please email John Strong, director of Adult Faith Formation, at john@boilercatholics.org.
