"Get behind me Satan"
Isaiah prophesied: I gave my back to those who beat me and my
face to buffets and spitting. I was not disgraced, for when the Lord
is with me, how can I be ashamed?
.
Jesus taught the disciples that the Son of Man must suffer and die.
He went on to say that if they wish to follow him they, too, must
deny themselves and take up the cross.
Let us Pray
Look upon us, O God, Creator and ruler of all things, and, that we may feel the working of your mercy, grant that we may serve you With all our heart. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
Pray for our Sick:
