This Fall we are launching That Man is You! (TMIY)
TMIY is a dynamic experience that has transformed the lives of thousands of men throughout the country. All men are invited, no matter where you are in your journey. TMIY will launch on Saturday mornings at 7:30am on September 25th beginning with breakfast followed by an engaging presentation and discussion, wrapping up before 9am. Registration is now open. Christ the King Women’s Club is back! Mark your calendars for our upcoming events. On Tuesday, September 14, we’re having a planning meeting in the parish rectory at 7:00 p.m. (bring your ideas!). On Saturday, October 23, we’re having a women's pilgrimage Bus Trip and day retreat in Carey, Ohio. On Sunday, November 14, is our annual Aunt Hattie’s Raffle and Auction.
Our Youth Ministry is excited to announce our FIESTA kickoff!
Join us on Sunday, September 19, at 4:00 p.m. in the church basement! If you are in 8th grade or high school, we hope to see you there! There will be Tacos, Aguas Frescas, Pinata’s, games and more! (This event is bilingual.)
Two new Bible Studies!
The first study is on the Book of Revelation, facilitated by Deacon Pete on Thursdays at 10am starting on September 30th. The second is an evening study called Genesis to Jesus lead by seminarian, Jason Fox, which offers a tour through the Bible (dates and times will be available soon!). Mass Intentions
The Mass Intention book will open this Wednesday, September 15, for scheduling Mass intentions for 2022. Parishioners should come to the parish office to coordinate Mass intentions with the secretary during office hours. We cannot receive requests over the phone, and only those confined to their home should make requests by mail. In order to give an opportunity to all parishioners, only six Mass intentions per parishioner will be scheduled on the initial day the Mass Intention book opens. Our previous policies will continue, parishioners can only schedule one Mass intention for a particular loved one each month, and the $10 donation that accompanies a Mass must be received the day the request is made. Thank you for your cooperation in these matters as we pray for our family members and friends!
