Two Opportunities:
1. Neighboring Week!
Neighboring Week is a Midland citywide initiative meant to build a stronger community by fostering conversations, understanding, and relationships among neighbors. From September 27-October 3, we are all encouraged to participate in ways big and small: say “hello” to your neighbors, introduce yourself to someone new, lend a helping hand, create a contact list for your neighborhood, walk in the CROP Walk, plan a game night or a cookout for the neighborhood… The list is endless and EVERYONE can do something to make our town more neighborly! Watch the website, social media, and bulletin for ways to be a good neighbor, not just this week, but all the time!
2. CROP Hunger Walk 2021
What are you doing on Sunday, October 3 at 1:30? Would you like a way to visit with friends, make NEW friends, enjoy the outdoors, get exercise AND change the world? Come walk with us in the CROP Hunger Walk to raise funds to fight hunger in our community and around the world. The walk begins and ends at Emerson Park, Shelter D. We have a Blessed Sacrament Team and plan to meet at 1:15 so we can all walk together. If you can’t make the walk, then please consider making a donation. Click the button to learn more about CROP, to sign up to be part of the team, or to make a donation.
