A Word from Your Pastor
Wasn’t it wonderful to have the choir back at last Sunday’s 10:45 Mass?
Sunday also saw a large gathering of PSR students and their parents along with Baptisms and a couple completing their marriage prep. The place was bustling last weekend.
Since the bulletin is sent in no later than Wednesday morning, I have no update on the Bishop’s office request that we ask parishioners to once again wear masks for Mass. This will begin this weekend. The bishop was to meet with the priests’ council on Thursday and so we’ll await any updates on pandemic protocols.
None of us like masks, but they are currently a necessary evil and a way to protect each other. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Real Presence Real Future Presents Parish Consultation Sessions - We are asking for your participation. There is still time to register.
As part of the ongoing strategic process for Real Presence Real Future, the Diocese of Columbus will host Parish Consultation Sessions this fall. Two sessions will be held via ZOOM videoconferencing for each parish.
Parish Consultation Sessions are a vital part of the planning process that encourages parishioners to offer insights and perspective on the future planning of their parish. Parishioner feedback during these sessions will be used to draft new models for review by parishioners in early 2022 until new models are approved. No decisions have been made regarding any parish and none will be made until feedback is gathered from parishioners in the ZOOM consultation process.
Registration is required by logging onto realpresencerealfuture... or use link below. Even if you are not able to participate, register anyway. All registrants will receive a link to the recording via email after the session.
Parishioner participation is critical
to helping shape the future of the Diocese of Columbus.

SUPPORT OUR SEMINARIANS (SOS)
For many years St. Edward’s Knights of Columbus, Council No. 10876, have been financially supporting the Seminarians through the Diocese of Columbus Vocations office. The Seminarians must focus on their studies, therefore, they cannot seek work. The Knights of Columbus want to open up this opportunity to parishioners of St Edward Church, by collecting donations to help our Seminarians with expenses including gas, auto expenses, insurance, etc.
Donation envelopes are located in the Gathering Space. Donations can be placed in the Donation Box located in the gathering space. Please make checks payable to "Knights of Columbus 10876" .
