Parish Financial Report 2021
Many people give to the Church in order to give back to God a little of what He has given to them. This is their tithe. The parish is accountable for this tithe to the Church, the people, through the stewardship of the pastor who is assisted by the parish staff and guided by the Finance Council. Faith Formation Registration
Registration for the 2021-2022 Religious Education/Youth Ministry is now open here! All registrations for Faith Formation and Sacramental Formation will be completed on the parish website. We will offer two models of Faith Formation this year: Classroom Model and Family Model. Visit the website for more information.
The first Parent Teaching Session with Fr. Brian (The Role of Parents in Education) is tomorrow, Sept. 14 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the Parish Activity Center.
Cedarbrake "On the Road" Retreat
Join Franciscan Father Albert Haase as he gives a day retreat on the Lord’s Prayer Wednesday, Sept. 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. As early as the second century, the Lord’s Prayer was referred to as a “Summary of the Entire Gospel.” It was viewed not simply as a prayer method, but also a statement that incorporated all the teachings of Jesus. Annulment: Pathway to Healing
The Pathway to Healing seminar is a time for reflecting on the demise of one’s marriage by taking a journey from pain and loneliness to acceptance and healing. It is designed to help participants begin a journey in awareness of the healing process of nullity (annulment) through a straight-to-the-heart response to persons considering or already seeking a declaration of nullity. The seminar will be offered Saturday, Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the diocesan Pastoral Center in Austin. For more information, contact Patricia Thompson at (512) 970-7063.
