FROM THE PASTOR
My dear parishioners,
This weekend I will be giving the state of the parish update at all Masses. This is an opportunity to take a step back and look at the big picture, to see where God is at work and where his Spirit is leading us. There is a lot to be thankful for. God is doing some amazing things under our roof.
The following weekend, September 25-26, we will be hearing witnesses from parishioners who have found many blessings living the stewardship way of life.
On the evening of Saturday, September 25, we will have our St. Gabriel Celebration. Bishop Greg Kelly, the first pastor of St. Gabriel, will be celebrating the 5:00 PM Mass. His vision laid the foundation for the spiritual community we enjoy today. Afterward, we will have tents with food, fun, and fellowship as we have activities led by our ministries, inflatables, a beer garden, and tributes that celebrate our faith community.
The weekend of
October 2-3 will be pledge weekend. I am asking all families to make a pledge to support parish operations and ministries. The easiest way is to pledge online
HERE. We will also have pledge forms available that weekend for those who need them.
I thank all of you for being part of this amazing family of faith. God is certainly in our midst. I ask you all to continue to pray for our wonderful community of St. Gabriel the Archangel.
God bless you all,
Fr. Don
