Today we welcome a visiting Jesuit Scholastic, Mr. Matt Cortese from Lemoyne College, who will be offering some light philosophy and discussion about Pope Francis over our Wednesday Meal. We hope you can come! Also-- there will be another "special visitor" at our dinner. We've got a Spanish mass this weekend, and a bunch of ways to get involved in your local community.
As we know, the Pope is given the Keys to Heaven and Earth, but the Key to the Tabernacle (Meditation) Room has gone missing from the Anabel Taylor Hall front desk. Please return this ASAP if you unwittingly walked off with this important key! - Spanish Mass 11/12
- March for Life signup today!
- Grad Student Group Meeting - Faith and Gender
- Chesterton House Offering Winter Course for credit

Mass in Spanish will be held this Sunday, November 12th at 4pm. We hope you can be there, especially as we celebrate the baptism of one of our youngest church members!
Cornell Catholic will be sending a group of students to the annual March for Life in Washington DC. We will be taking a bus leaving Ithaca on the night of Jan 18th, arriving in DC in the morning for the march, and will be back by midnight on the 19th. This is before the spring semester starts and will be a great opportunity to support the unborn. Anyone who is interested in going to the March for Life rally in Washington D.C. on Friday, January 19th should contact Pat Gillick (pjg233).
Our next Grad Student LOGOS meeting will discuss the nature and implications of sex and gender. This topic is a broad, confusing, and sensitive one. We will not complete this discussion in a single session. Attendees should bring any helpful resources they may find. Scientific, theological/philosophical, sociological, or other scholarly resources are especially useful if you have the training to interpret them. We hope to come to better appreciate the Church’s teachings and understand the many ideas and experiences being discussed around us - or at least generate more informed questions to ask next time! Some summaries and interviews detailing the various ideas and experiences around gender found in society today:
