Blessings on this last Friday of the summer! This weekend we celebrate Catechetical Sunday, a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the role that each of us plays, by virtue of our Baptism, in handing on the faith and being a witness to the Gospel. We welcome our children and catechists back to in-person Religious Ed. classes and ask God's blessings for a fruitful year. Children’s Religious Ed. Is Underway!
Our Religious Education program for children in grades K-8 begins this Sunday, September 19 with a "Back-to-Sunday School" event! This "meet and greet" session at 9:45 AM in the rectory basement is for students AND parents/guardians. It's a great opportunity for all families to meet our catechists, ask questions, voice your concerns and suggestions, register your children for class (if you haven't done so), and share fellowship. Reminder--Ministry Update Session
All Altar Servers, Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Greeters, Ushers, and anyone who assists with the liturgy in any way, is reminded of the gathering this coming Tuesday, September 21 at 7:00pm in the church. Those who served prior to the pandemic, those currently serving, and new volunteers wishing to join one of these ministries are all encouraged to attend.
The Baltimore County Department of Aging (BCDA) is inviting everyone to participate in No Senior Eats Alone Day on Thursday, September 23. Our goal is to make the older adults in our community feel valued and connected! Share a meal with an older adult that you work or volunteer with. Take an older grandparent or older neighbor out to a restaurant or prepare a meal at home for them. (Remember your safety protocols!) Promote the event through family, friends, and local organizations.

Blessing of the Animals
Monday, October 4th is the Feast of St. Francis. Fr. Canisius will bless all of God's creatures on Saturday, October 2nd at 10:00am in the courtyard between the church and the rectory. We welcome everyone to bring your pets (on leashes or in cages) to receive a special blessing

MASS + PROCESSION
The Brotherhood of the Lord of the Miracles of Pikesville invites you to their annual celebration on Sunday, October 3rd beginning with Mass (en Español) at 1:00pm followed by a procession with the sacred Peruvian icon. All are invited to attend.
Annual Spiritual Adoption Program
Our Respect Life Ministry will kick-off its annual Spiritual Adoption Program on Respect Life Sunday, the weekend of October 2nd & 3rd, at all Masses. If you are not able to make it to Mass and would like a prayer/pledge card sent to your home, please contact Jeanette at 443-416-6626.
