Crusader Keepers Committee
Calling all CtRCS dads and grand-fathers!! We want you to be a part of our Crusaders Keepers program. We launched this program in the 2019-2020 school year and it was met with much excitement amongst our dads. We are happy to bring it back. This program is modeled after the National Watchdog ( Dads Of Great Students) Program. Crusaders Keepers get to spend a day on campus watching over our school, helping in classrooms, at recess and lunch. Training and a background check is required. Homeroom Parent Committee
WELCOME BACK!!!! Thank you to all the parents who signed up to serve as Homeroom Parents for the 2021-22 school year. We were overwhelmed by the response-we had far more parents volunteer than spaces to serve. Parents will be notified the week of Sept. 20 if they have been selected to serve this year. HR parents across your grade level will work together. HR parents work side by side with their HR teachers and grade level teams on teacher bios, Monthly Birthday Celebrations, Chili Cook-Off Auction Items, Christmas parties, teacher birthdays, and more.
Valerie Lacy serves as our HR Parent Coordinator and will be the primary contact throughout the year along with your HR Teachers.
All HR Parents must complete our SAFE Environment Training and sign a Volunteer Code of Conduct. More Information will be shared about each of those items.

Hospitality Committee and Kinder Graduation
Our Hospitality Committee is looking for volunteers to help with events throughout the year... popsicle parties, Middle School dances, Open Houses, and much more. This committee helps set up food, decorations and more. Please reach out if you have an interest in joining.
We will be reaching out to our 1st grade parents closer to the end of the year to assist with Kinder graduation. What an amazing event this is to celebrate our sweet kindergarteners!
Yearbook Committee
Kate Bihner is looking forward to creating a team of volunteers to help sorting pictures, work and design yearbook pages and to attend event as a photographer throughout the year. Please contact Kate if you are interested in joining this committee. Keep your eyes opened when we have signups, we will also include a slot for photographers!

Outreach Committee
Outreach Committee offers a variety of things to help our families with life altering events. We offer meal trains, prayer blankets, prayer crosses and more. If you or another family has a need please reach out to our Outreach Committee volunteers, teachers or administration.
Outreach is always looking for gently used rosaries.

Laminating Committee
We are looking for a few volunteers to join our laminating committee. This committee is so helpful to the teachers, staff and school on so many levels! We will create monthly SUG according to what we think the month will need for volunteers. If you ever need to swap please use the sign up so that administration is aware of who to expect and can turn the laminator on ahead of time. We only need 1 volunteer for the AM or PM shift but not both. Please make a note on the date with your available time. We've given several options especially at the beginning of school, in case we have a lot more laminating to do. If there is an issue the day of your shift please contact Katie.griep@ctrschool or marilyn_lozano@yahoo.com and we will make sure the shift is covered. We will evaluate how much laminating is needed each week, if volunteers have everything caught up for the week we will send an email canceling the next shift.
We will also have monthly birthday pencil sorting and distributing and an occasional project such as new family gifts being sorted and distributed.

Middle School Committee
We are looking for Middle School volunteers to help organize and run Middle School events and projects as needs arise. We need you ALL you to create a committee to serve our Middle School students!! This will be a variety of events including our 8th Grade Graduation that 7th Grade parents will help create. Please reach out if you have an interest in our MS Committee!
Lunch Bunch Committee
We have had great help so far from our Lunch Bunch volunteers! Thank you! We are looking to continue to have the support to help distribute daily lunches.
Please see the sign-up below. If you are able to commit to the same day each week that will help in establishing consistency. However, we understand that not everyone's schedule works in that way and we are grateful to you for all the time(s) that you are able to volunteer.

Chili Cook Off and Steps for Students
For eight years Christ the Redeemer Catholic School and Church has come together to build community, celebrate our accomplishments, and support CtRCS through our Annual Chili Cook-Off. The Chili Cook-Off is our biggest “FUN”draiser of the year and truly showcases the Crusader Spirit.
We are beyond excited for the in-person return of our Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021. Over the years the Chili Cook-Off has grown to 25 cook teams and more than 1,000 combined guests and volunteers each year.
As we look towards Nov. 13, there are many ways that our community will be able to support and participate in our 8th Annual Chili Cook-Off. You can serve as a sponsor or underwriter, provide an in-kind gift for our online auction, donate items through our Amazon wish list, and join our online auction set to launch Monday, Nov. 1, 2021.

Spirit Wear and Used Uniform Committee
Thank you to Kinsey Solleder for her continued support leading these committees. As mentioned we have a used uniform sell in August and January each year. All items to be donated to school to received credit must be turned in and sorted through before the sales.
Spirit items are sorted and distributed once all items are received. We do have some items in our on campus store that are available for purchase. Please contact Kinsey Solleder.
