Youth Groups Begin this Sunday Evening!
After a year and a half of seeing each other in little Zoom boxes, we’re finally going to be getting the youth together on Sunday night.
At 5PM there is a service in the sanctuary. At 5:45PM there is dinner in the parish hall. And at 6:15PM the youth will meet in Bryan’s Room. We’ll be finished by 7PM. The youth can come to all three events, just dinner and youth group, or just youth group. It’s up to you and your family schedule.
This fall and winter we’re going to be looking at four major questions that I hear from young people all the time: Is there a God? If there is a God, what is God like? How can we relate to God? And, what does God want for/from us?
All youth, grades 6 (six) and up are welcome to join us!
Curbing Hunger Donation
Donate All Year
Donations of non-perishable food are accepted throughout the year and delivered to the Food Bank Network of Somerset County for distribution to county families in-need. Residents can place non-perishable items in a plastic bag and mark it “food” with a permanent marker and leave the bag at the curb with their recyclables for collection on their regularly scheduled pickup days and/or donate canned goods at Somerset County’s First Saturday Drop-Off events.
Monetary Donations: Checks can be made payable to Curbing Hunger, Inc. and mailed to 140 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
And, of course, you can always bring your food donations to the office or link.
Donations to Altar Guild
Fresh flowers are always a welcome site on Sunday mornings. For many years we have kept the price of one vase at $30 and two at $60. Given the rising costs of, well everything, we will be increasing the flower fee - $35 for one, $70 for both. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
Please contact the office if you would like to dedicate altar flowers in memory or celebration of a loved one.
Arbor Day Tree Planting at Harry Dunham
This coming Wednesday, 9/29, The Basking Ridge Garden Club will be planting a tree in memory of Margaret Brown Murphy who was not only a long-time parishioner of St. Mark's but also a loyal member of the Garden Club for many years. We will gather at Harry Dunham at 9am. All are welcome.
