The parish is a privileged place of the formation of faith for each individual. We are committed to assisting parents, who are the primary educators of their children. St. Pius X is committed to helping parents and grandparents in their vocations of passing on the faith. Above is a timely and awesome talk by Bishop Barron.
Congress is about to vote on the most radical abortion bill of all time. What does this mean? How can you make a difference?
St. Pius X will be joining St. Mary's for the Fall 40 Days for Life Twin Cities campaign to end abortion. This campaign begins September 22nd, and continues to October 31.
Our ‘Adopt-A-Day’ is WEDNESDAY, October 6 from 6:00 AM until 6:00 PM. On this day St. Pius X and St. Mary's parishioners are encouraged to pray, witness and fast in their homes, at church and at Planned Parenthood (671 Vandalia St., St. Paul) to end abortion and to support those struggling with an unplanned pregnancy. Throughout October 6th (and all 40 Days for Life) people will pray on the sidewalk in front of Planned Parenthood where 7,491 abortions were committed in 2020. A sign-up sheet is at the Information Center. Please join us. For more information, please contact Cathy Evans at 651-429-0529.

Looking for an opportunity to share or to volunteer with this Christmas ?
The Appalachia Christmas program coordinated by the Council of Catholic Women at St. Pius X is one way for you to do that. Invite your family or a community small group that you may be a part of, your neighbors to join together to fill a shoe box (or two ) filled with items for a girl or boy between the ages of 11-13 or 14-16 years of age. This age is often over looked for donations.
Shoe Box Program brochures are on the CCW Table in the community space. In addition new toys, games, dolls and winter clothing for all ages are needed for the families.
Item may be dropped off in the Appalachia Collection Box any time until
October 22, 2021. Join us to pack the gifts that afternoon starting at 4:00 pm.
Who should go on the Awakening Retreat? Everyone! If you've ever wanted to grow deeper in your faith and friendship with God, this retreat is for you! Whether this is your first retreat or your 101st retreat, we hope you join us. God loves you and desires friendship with you!
Our hope is that every adult of the parish is able to attend an Awakening Retreat! This retreat will be offered each October and May. While it is a parish-sponsored retreat with Fr. T.J. and Nicole Bettini leading the retreat, you need not be a parishioner to attend.
