FARMINGTON FOOD SHELF
The Farmington food shelf is a wonderful asset in the newly remodeled Community Center downtown. We have amazingly generous residents and partners. We are looking for volunteers to help with Saturday rescue pick-up. Volunteers must have a truck or van and ability to lift 45lbs repeatedly.
What a Farmington food shelf rescue driver opportunity looks like:
• Choose the day you are volunteering on Sign-up genius
• Arrive with a truck/van at the Target on pilot knob road around 7am on the Saturday you signed-up for
• Load boxes of produce, deli, bread and other groceries in your truck/van
• Deliver the boxes to the Farmington food shelf (510 walnut street) by 7:30am
• Unload boxes, weight & record temp
• Help with breaking down boxes, gather trash and compost
• Help with sorting if needed
• Usually done by 8:30am

LOAVES & FISHES
Loaves and Fishes community meals is looking for some additional volunteers during September/October. It's an opportunity to serve others, to earn community service hours (for those who need them) and to meet others who are volunteering, too!
Youth are welcome to volunteer (We encourage an adult to accompany ages 11-13).
