Greetings Church Friends and Family, I want to share with you a little portion of what was shared with me this week.
A young boy was told by his father to cut down weeds near the highway. Two businessmen were surveying a site across the road. The men were unsure how to get back to town, so they asked the boy for help. Twice the boy gave them bad directions. The men, frustrated and angry, came back to confront the boy. They said he was the one who was lost. But the boy replied, "I'm not lost. I'm right where my father told me to be."
Disciples of Jesus aren't lost when they are right where God has told them to be. And God the Father has told us to enjoy fellowship with him and Jesus and with the community of believers. We are never really lost when we are connected in fellowship with God and with other Christians. We become lost when we think we can go it alone in this world.
Eugene Peterson, the author of "The Message", gives an excellent description of the fellowship community of God. He says that the church community is "a grouping of persons whom God has called together, whom God will keep together, and who will survive by God's grace." Whenever we gather as God's people, we proclaim to the world "what we have seen and heard" (1 John 1:1-4) so that others may experience the joy of fellowship we have with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We need to be right where our Father wants us.
I pray that you will know with certainty, that you are not lost, and that you will find yourself every day, right where HE wants us to be. (Hope you will also be at church on Sabbath; a lot going on, and you don’t want to miss it.)
We will be making some adjustments to our social media accounts shortly, as far as our handles are concerned, once our church name has officially been approved and voted. (More on this later). Since we seem to have lost Admin rights to our Facebook account (we’ve had to create a new one) - We are still trying to acquire admin rights to the KSCS Facebook page (if you can help, please contact Pr. Eugene). For right now, please visit and like/follow us at:

Yes, we have several prayer groups that meet during the week, but some have expressed the need to be able to communicate prayer requests to bring before the Lord during our worship service, and they either do not attend in person at present or do not feel comfortable presenting their requests in person. This may also help us cut sometime during our service if we have the requests ready to go. Please submit your prayer requests that you want to be prayed over during church to Pastor Eugene, 1. Via email (eugene@arlingtonadventist.com) or 2. Via Txt Message or WhatsApp. (512.708.0600)
We are excited to host Pr. Kevin Wells, our Multi-site Senior Pastor, from the main Arlington Campus here this weekend, as he visits with us, and shares the sermon entitled, “Holding It All Together” - Scripture: Text: “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” (Colossians 1:15, NKJV)
We will have a special potluck after the service, to fellowship with Pr. Kevin, as well as Pr. Allison Casillas (Arlington Children’s Pastor) who will be presenting following the meal. Please consider joining us by bringing a dish as well as staying behind, and getting involved as we prepare to bring back our children’s Sabbath Schools.
Pr. Allison, will be presenting to all those interested in helping put together our Children’s Sabbath School. Will be looking at infrastructure and curriculum amongst other things. You do not want to miss this important get-together.
