Propagation of the Faith
Annual Special Collection, Sept. 25th - 26th
Fr. Celestine Byekwaso from the Diocese of Kasana-Luweero in Uganda would have been the representative speaker at all Masses for the Mission Weekend, but due to concerns about the Virus he cannot visit. Envelopes to be used for this Mission Appeal can be found at the back of the church and placed in the collection basket.
Thank you for your consideration and generosity for this important annual appeal that addresses major needs of other Catholic Churches and ministries both in our nation and throughout the universal Church.
AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION:
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
Prayer of Saint Michael
We invite you to recite the prayer of Saint Michael with us as Pope Francis and Saint John Paul II have recommended, “to obtain help in the battle against the forces of darkness and against the spirit of this world.”
“St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.”

The obligation to attend Sunday Mass and holy days of obligation has been reinstated by Bishop McManus and protocols have been updated. View important modifications to our celebration of Mass on our website.
*Sunday 6:30 Mass resumes on September 12th but only on High School Religious Ed. class nights. Since Fr Riley is our only priest, he will offer 6:30 Mass on high school class nights this year. Hopefully we get an associate priest next year and the 6:30 Mass can return to weekly.

What to expect as you return to Mass at St. Luke Parish now the obligation to attend Mass has been reestablished by Bishop McManus:
- The Prayer of St. Michael will be recited right after Communion at all Sunday Masses. In reciting this beautiful prayer, we seek St. Michael's protection for the Church and for ourselves.
- Fonts at the doors will be filled with Holy Water so you can bless yourself as you enter the church.
- We resume approaching the altar from the center aisle for Communion, returning to our seats by the side aisles. Kindly be respectful of distancing.
- Select pews will remain roped off for social-distancing.
- The 7:30am Mass will now be a "Silent" Mass; that is, there will be no music.
Mass will continue to be live-streamed and broadcast on Westborough TV for our vulnerable and home-bound parishioners.

We invite parishioners to stay and pray the rosary together after 9:00am weekday Mass.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament & Adoration
You are invited to join us in joyful adoration of the true presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament. Tuesdays after 9:00am Mass.
9:30am - 1:00pm. Benediction at 1:00pm.
