If you are receiving this newsletter that means your child is in St. Joseph's youth ministry! We are Sam Shepard and McKenzie Neu, parishioners from St. Joseph's and your youth ministers! We are so excited to serve as part of this beautiful community.
High school youth nights are called Journey and middle school youth nights are called Ignite. These will be times for growth, fun, and fellowship. Read for more information on the activities coming up.
We will be sending weekly newsletters to keep you up to date on the fun and exciting things we have going on. We can't wait to meet each of you and your youth!

In light of Thanksgiving, we are sharing this video on gratitude. God gives us so many gifts, and often we and our children don't realize them or forget that these gifts are from Him!
Journey nights:
Journey is a safe and fun place for youth from 9th-12th grade to grow in their faith. We do this through talks, testimonies, games, dramas, skits, activities, and small groups. We meet Sunday nights after the 5:30 mass, where we have dinner and social time and end at 8:30 pm. Please join us! We would love to have you!Journey is every Sunday 6:30-8:30 pm in the Gym at the St. Joseph Secondary Campus.
Last Week: We talked about the covenants and the main characters in these covenants.
This Week: There will not be a youth night this Sunday.
Ignite Nights:
Ignite is a safe and fun place for youth in grades 6th-8th to grow in their faith. We meet Sunday nights after the 5:30 mass in the St. Joseph's Secondary School Gym and end at 8:30 pm. We start the youth nights with dinner and social time, and then go into games, talks, small group, and other activities to help the youth grow in their faith. Please join us! We would love to have you!
Ignite meets on Sundays from 6:30-8:30 pm in the Gym at the St. Joseph Secondary Campus.
Last Week: We covered Commandments 7, 8, and 10 and talked about the gifts that God gives us, and how envy gets in the way of us realizing our gifts. We then celebrated the gifts God gave us!
Next Week: No youth night this week! We will see you at our next youth night on December 3rd.
Upcoming Dates
Next Youth RCIA Session
November 15th 6:30-8:00 pm
This is for all youth who haven't received Baptism and/or First Communion and are not already going through a program to receive their sacraments. We will be meeting in the portable in the St. Joseph's Secondary School parking lot. If you have any questions, contact Debra Borski at debra@ablazeyouth.org.

Confirmation Session
November 19th 1-2:30 pm
If you have registered this year for confirmation, don't forget to attend this session! Both the youth and the sponsor and/or parent will need to attend these sessions. The sessions will be held in the Parish Activity Center. Please contact Debra Borski at debra@ablazeyouth.org if you have any questions.
