In addition to the great opportunity to come together in food and fellowship, this Gathering has a special significance in that it both looks backwards on how we navigated the perilous waters of COVID-19 pandemic as well as looking forward to how we are called to respond in bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to a world shrouded in darkness.
The Parish Family Gathering for this month will take place at the 9 and 11AM Sunday Masses. In addition to being able to receive your annual Flu shot, a special part of this Gathering will be the showing of the video created by Visitation parishioners (see below) documenting the pandemic and our parish's response in bringing us together in new and innovative ways. We hope you can join us on Sunday but, if you can't be there (or are just impatient to watch it), you can find it at the following link:

Psalm 40: 2-3 Surely, I wait for the LORD;
who bends down to me and hears my cry,
Draws me up from the pit of destruction,
out of the muddy clay, Sets my feet upon rock,
steadies my steps, and puts a new song in my mouth.
Our Pastor Father Ed was led by the Holy Spirit to guide us, walk with us and lead us back home to Visitation. What a blessing it is to belong to Visitation, where the light of Christ shines in all. We welcome you to join us.
