We have a lot of things coming in October and I wanted to share them with you. During the month of October, the Rosary will be recited after each Sunday Mass. I invite you to stay and join in the recitation of the Rosary for the intentions of our parish and the conversion of our Nation and a greater respect for human life.
This Sunday, October 3, there are two special events taking place:
- At the 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Mass, we will have with us several seminarians from the St. John Paul II seminary to promote vocations through witness talks. Father Chris Seith will be the celebrant and homilist for the Mass.
- In honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, at 3:00 p.m. in the front of the church, Father Russo will offer a special blessing on the animals. Bring your pets!
This year, our annual 40 Hours Eucharistic Adoration will begin on Sunday, October 24 and continue Monday, October 25 and Tuesday, October 26. Adoration will be held in the Church. Look for sign-up sheets next week. The daily 6:30 and 8:00 a.m. Masses will be celebrated in the Church on that Monday and Tuesday that week.
October is Respect Life month! Let us pray for the unborn and elderly; that life will be respected from the moment of conception until natural death.
Peace,
Father Potts
