My dear friends,
How about we switch gears with respect to committed adorers for Eucharistic Adoration? At least during these daytimes hours (9am to 1pm), to avoid having to repose the Blessed Sacrament when no one is present and praying, I am looking for 1 committed person each hour time-slot to be present for Adoration in the Marian Chapel or to ensure a substitute each week. Currently, we have no one committed for Monday 12noon-1pm, Tuesday 10-11am, Thursday 11-12noon, Friday 9-10am (although people from the 9am Mass will be there to pray) and 11-12noon. If someone can take one of those hours, please sign-up online or contacts the Rectory (723-0276).
The Life Chain is a call to the Church to stand before God and the local community on behalf of the children affected by legalized abortion.
Please stand with us on Sunday, October 3rd, from 1:00-2:00pm (following the 12noon Mass) along Post Road in repentance and prayer, seeking changed hearts and His healing for North America.
Please meet in the SOUTH Parking Lot for the distribution of signs and for the event's Code of Conduct.
The RCIA process (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) to welcome non-Catholics into the Faith or to help adult Catholics receive all their Sacraments of Initiation, will hold an Information Session at IHM on Tuesday, October 5th at 7:30pm at the parish for those who may wish to explore this opportunity. More details will follow this weekend.
Interested? Know someone who may be? Please contact the Rectory (723-0276).
God bless -
