Dear Walla Walla Catholic School Families,
As the month of September comes to an end, we look forward to October and especially to our Sausagefest 2021 events this weekend! Remember to get your Sausagefest food to-go tomorrow, and then stick around to watch the Irish football game against Yakima Nation! The game starts at 7:00 PM. Then, on Saturday we have a Family Movie Night at the Drive-In! Learn more about these Sausagefest events, and more, below!
Earlier today we sent out this note regarding the COVID-19 testing requirement for high-risk indoor sports (basketball and indoor cheer) as well as for indoor theater performances. If you haven't seen it yet, please take a look. This information has also been added to the COVID page on our website.

Tree of Hope at Assumption
Hope is the virtue for this month in particular, but it is also the guiding virtue for the whole year! At Assumption, the 6th grade class, led by Callen Bender, Dominic Fazzari and Roslyn Block, organized the creation of "The Tree of HOPE". This tree represents the Assumption student body. The 6th grade plans to change the tree as the seasons turn. A special thank you to the all teachers for helping their students decorate the leaves!
Sausagefest 2021 Event Details
This weekend, October 1 & 2
Because of COVID-19 restrictions and increased case activity in our area, Sausagefest will be a modified event for 2021. We know that these opportunities to gather together and celebrate our community are important, and we are very excited to be able to offer a fun alternative event with that same Sausagefest experience. WIAA Athlete of the Week: Joe Baffney!
Joe Baffney, a DeSales Junior and member of the Irish football team, was named as the WIAA "Athlete of the Week" for this past week. We love to see our students being recognized for their hard work and achievements. Congratulations Joe!
Hot Lunches at DeSales, Pizza Fridays at Assumption
There will soon be the opportunity for DeSales students to purchase hot lunches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the coming weeks. Additionally, the 8th Grade will be fundraising for their class trip by offering "Pizza Fridays" for students.
At Assumption, the school is also providing "Pizza Fridays" as a way to raise funds for the 6th Grade retreat, as well as for other student lunch needs. All of these opportunities will begin in mid to late October.

Cantate Domino
This choir sings on the second Sunday of the month at 9:30 Mass at St. Patrick's, beginning October 10, 2021. Children from all parishes welcome! Children need to be able to read but do not need to be able to read music. If you are interested, click here to learn more!

WWCS Holy Hour
Wednesdays at 4:00 PM - St. Patrick Church
The WWCS Wednesday Holy Hour is held every Wednesday at 4:00 PM, at St. Patrick Church. Though this is a Walla Walla Catholic Schools event, it is also open to the community and we hope that you will join us in prayer!
