Thank you to all who have volunteered to be a home visitor - it is appreciated! Thank you to all who called and recruited these important volunteers – it is also appreciated!
If you have not been called or have not connected with your caller, and would like to volunteer, please call the parish office. We welcome you as a volunteer in this effort.
Many are asking when they will be able to make their commitment to the Capital Campaign to build our new church – and that time is just around the corner. In the next few weeks, you will receive in the mail a brochure outlining the project and other important information about the campaign and how you can support the effort and invest in our parish.
On October 24th, during mass, we will commission our project volunteers. That afternoon, they will be out making visits to their assigned parish homes. They will be visiting each parish family and leaving a packet for them to think about, pray about as a family, and decide their involvement. This will be your opportunity to support this important parish project.
On October 31st, they will be returning to the same parish family homes and pick up the completed packet in a sealed envelope and return them to the parish office. All giving to the campaign will be confidential and anonymous.
Your continued prayers for the success of the capital campaign are important for our parish and its future. Together we will enhance St. John’s where we gather as a community to share and grow our faith.
