TIME AND TALENT WEEKENDS
Come to Mass this Weekend and listen to the message and some of our parishioners share their ministry journey.
Please return your “Time and Talent Survey Card” this weekend, thank you. Otherwise, please return it to the parish within the next 2 weeks.
Very soon committee chairs will begin to call you to let you know when the group will meet next. If, after 3 weeks, you have not returned your “Survey” our volunteers will be calling you to ask how you would like to be a part of parish ministry. Even if you can’t commit right now, please return the “Survey” saying as much, in order to save our volunteers time and effort.
We are VERY excited about this initiative and are grateful to the organizational committee, the chairs of our committees, and our volunteers who will be calling. It is you who made this happen. Thank you! I cannot wait to see what the Spirit has in store for St. Patrick Parish!
BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS:
Our parish continues this custom on Sunday, October 3 at 3pm. You are invited to bring your dogs and cats, rabbits and snakes, birds and horses, whatever pets you may have at home. In the main parking lot of the church, weather permitting, we will ask God’s blessing upon them through the intercession of Saint Francis of Assisi, the great patron saint of animals.
INTERIOR CHURCH REPAIRS
We will begin doing some plaster and paint repairs to the ceiling of the church on the Blessed Mother’s side. Several pews will be moved to make space for the scaffolding required for the repairs. The project will begin on Monday, October 4th, and is expected to be completed by the end of October. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to maintain the beauty of our church.
