Dear St. Mark’s Students and Parishioners:
This weekend, we take a second collection for the Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). This campaign was begun in the late 60’s as a U.S. Bishops initiative to combat inner-city and rural poverty. I just learned that Pope Francis has also created a new initiative called the “World Day of the Poor” which will be celebrated this Sunday, November 19th. To learn more, please go to:

For more info, please contact student Iliana de Hoyos at iliana37dehoyos@gmail.com. Sign-ups for food and service hours are on the bulletin board in the church. You can also sign-up on line at:

This year, we have almost 50 student searchers, which is one of the largest retreat groups in recent memory. Special thanks to students Ari Allen and Will Watt for their terrific leadership this year!
Our Thanksgiving Day Mass will be celebrated at 9:00am on Thursday morning. The office will be closed from Thursday through Thanksgiving weekend, with normal 10-5 office hours resuming on Monday, Nov 27th.
Thanksgiving Blessings!
