Hello. Faith-Filled Families!

Thank you for sending your children's responses to lesson 2. I loved the promises to God! If you haven't sent yours yet please do so soon so you don't fall behind!

In Sunday's Gospel we will hear the story of the rich young man who wants to know what he must do to get into heaven. The truth is, we cannot get ourselves into heaven. The good news is that for God all things are possible and He wants us with Him in heaven. He has a special place prepared for each of us!

Our lesson focuses on how we are members of team Jesus because He has chosen us! You may want to discuss and point out to your children the gifts they have that make them valuable members of Jesus' team, the Disciples. 

If your child is in 6th grade, I have a special Bible, the Catholic Youth Bible, for them. I will be at church Sunday from 9am until 6:30pm and I can leave it out for you to pick up when you come to mass.
