It's been way too long since we've had "regular" Faith Formation in the classroom... over a year and a half, in fact! This Sunday, 9:45-10:45, we'll be back in the classrooms with our amazing team of catechists and table leaders!
Our annual Thanksgiving cereal collection begins next weekend, October 17.
Coats for Kids is going on now... drop off your donations at the parish center.
And Trunk or Treat is in just a few weeks! Mark your calendar for October 30 for our second annual Trunk or Treat! Host a trunk and bring the treats, or costume up and collect the treats! For more information or to register your trunk, check out the parish website!
If your child is second grade or older and needs the Sacrament of First Reconciliation, here's what you need do:
1. Come to ONE or our Reconciliation Parent-Child Sessions. You can register your child for First Reconciliation there and pick up your books for home study. We'll also have some instruction and activities for the kids, and Fr. Rob will talk to the parents about the Sacraments and about Reconciliation. The dates for our Parent-Child Sessions are October 9 (tomorrow) from 9:30-12:00 OR October 17 from 2:00-4:30.
2. Complete the home study book together, using the parent guide to aid your discussions.
3. Bring your child to our Jesus Experience Day retreat (and volunteer if you can!). At JED, the kids will celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation individually with Fr. Rob and participate in other retreat-style activities. Reconciliation JED is December 4 from 9:00-12:00.
For information about First Eucharist dates and times, check out the parish website. Let me know if you have any questions!
