Dear Parents!
Happy Wednesday!!
A few notes and reminders for you this week!
Please scroll down for grade-specific reminders and updates.
A Change in Classroom Procedures:
Starting this week we are going to ask you to wait in the Gathering Space with your child until 5 minutes before classes begin. We will then ring a bell and open the doors so that you can walk your child to their room. We hope that this change gives the catechists time to set up and connect with one another before class starts.
Waiting for students:
We ask that if you drop off your child for class and plan to wait around for them while class is in session, that you please wait outside the building until dismissal time. We can not allow parents who are not session volunteers to remain in the classroom or building during class time. Thank you for understanding!
Trunk or Treat!!! Save the Date!
Saturday, October 30th all families are invited to attend the 4 pm mass IN COSTUME!!! (No blood, gore, or evil costumes, please). At the end of mass, children will be called to the altar where they will process out with Father Ed to the parking lot where cars will be waiting for Trunk or Treating!! Please see the link below for more details and to sign up if you would like to hand out candy from your car! We could use your participation!
Thanksgiving Baskets:
Please consider helping a family in need this Thanksgiving!! Please see the attached letter for more details!
Time, Talent, and Treasure Envelopes:
Thank you to all of the families who turned in envelopes this past week! What a blessing!! Please look for them to be displayed in the Narthex soon so that we can all read about all the wonderful ways that the children are serving!
Family Formation Activity:
Please see the link before for a fun, faith-based activity that you can do with your family this week based upon the Sunday Gospel readings! Spending time together as a family is one of the greatest gifts you can give your children and these activities are designed so that you are all learning and exploring the gospel together!
Show and Tell Time:
Don't forget to ask your children what they learned this week! Encourage them to be your teachers! There are times when we do not have time to complete the Show and Tell sheets, but please be sure to talk to your children about all the exciting lessons they have learned!
As always, reach out to us with any questions! We are happy to help!
Many blessings to you all!
