WE NEED VIRTUS TRAINED VOLUNTEERS
Are you a volunteer at St. Elizabeth’s? Would you be willing to become Virtus certified? We need VIRTUS-trained volunteers. And now is the best time to become one, because the ADW training sessions are totally online and St. Elizabeth’s will pay for it! If you are interested and willing to serve, please call the parish office and speak with Colleen or email her at csteele@stelizabethchurchmd.org.
Dorothy Day Shelter—Volunteers Needed!
Our parish has supported our local shelters once a month for a meal for close to 30 years! St. E’s has four teams that cook dinner and drop it off at our Rockville shelter once every quarter on Wednesday by 5:30 pm. We work with Dorothy Day Shelter located, at Marinelli and Nebel Street in Rockville. We are in need of additional members to supplement our teams and replace members who have left or plan to leave. Generally each team cooks dinner three times a year. Everyone splits up the meal – two make the casserole, two bring salad/bread, two bring dessert/fruit. We rotate each quarter on who does what. If you’re interested in volunteering, contact Colleen at csteele@stelizabethchurchmd.org.
All Souls Mass- Tuesday, November 2nd at 7:30 pm
