Pastor Tara VinCross shares the sermon this week in our series, Unlikely Heroes: Stories from the Book of Judges. Together we will look at the story of Gideon, whose story is found in Judges 6 - 8. In the dramatic, sometimes disturbing scenes in Judges, we see a God who is ready to save, who leans in close to our need. God chooses the leaders that we may not have picked, and God still does this today.

We want to say thank you to everyone who came out to support our outreach activities during our camp meeting weekend! A team packed 200 toiletry bags in the fellowship hall for the Family Assistance Program that helps youth in crisis, victims of domestic violence, neighbors without homes, and victims of human trafficking. Meanwhile, a team packed food at Helping Hands Pantry for those in need in the San Bernardino area. #TogetherWeServe

Workbees Valued at Over $33,000!
Do you remember the Sunday workbees we had this summer to finish clear out the Elias Community Center? Well, our hard work was valued at over $33,000! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and made this work possible. Meanwhile, the Vision Capital Administrative Team has approved a contractor and bid. The Community Center Taskforce is active in the next steps for our interior remodel with our contractor.
