Plant Watering: The Altar Society has asked that no one other than Altar Society members water the plants in the Church, including those on the Altar. The plants are watered weekly by scheduled members. This morning the Altar Society members came in to tend to their duties and noticed the peace lilies on the Altar had been watered to the point that one was overflowing its base with the other on the brink. This can cause the roots to rot and kill the plants, as well as damage the marble and carpet. Please do not water the flowers.
Memorial Candles: Do you have a loved one who passed away since November 1, 2020, and would you like to remember them in our All Souls Mass? If so, signup sheets will be available in the Parish Hall. I will publish the date of the Mass once it is verified.
Dinner and a Movie: Saturday, October 23, 6:00 PM. This month's movie night features, "The Keys of the Kingdom," starring Gregory Peck, Vincent Price, Roddy McDowall, and Rose Stradner. This 1944 flick, adapted from the 1941 book by AJ Cronin, is the story of a man who failed in all things except an understanding of his fellow man. It follows the career of an unconventional Scottish Roman Catholic priest, Fr. Francis Chisolm and his struggles to establish a mission in China. This role earned Peck his first Oscar nomination.
Mass Intentions: Please note that the month of November is dedicated to All Souls. All souls are included in our prayers.
