* The Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayed silently before the Blessed Sacrament Tuesday through Friday, and Monday in Classroom C while the church is cleaned.
* Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament is temporarily suspended while renovations take place within the church.

2022 Offertory Envelopes
We are preparing our Roster for the 2022 Offertory Envelopes. If you have any changes for your name, address, email, or cell number rather than land line, please call the office with these changes ASAP at 772-781-4415.
The 2022 offertory envelopes will be mailed to your residence on file quarterly. Therefore, it is important to have correct information. We will no longer be making offertory boxes for new registrations. New registrants need to place their check or cash in a regular envelope with your name clearly printed and your account will be credited. New registrations will receive their offertory envelopes for the next calendar quarter.
All Souls Novena
The All Souls Novena Masses begin this Sunday, October 25 and continue until All Souls Day, Tuesday, November 2. The novena consists of nine days of Masses for the repose of the souls of our loved ones.
The intention envelope must be returned by this Saturday, October 24th to be placed on the altar. The intentions cannot be accepted after the Masses begin. Please return your envelopes as soon as possible to the church office.
Sock-a-thon

The St. Andrew religious education department and the St. Andrew Apostles of St. John Paul II are collecting new non-skid socks to warm the feet & toes of residents at our local nursing homes and assisted living facilities within the St. Andrew Parish community. We have received a lot of socks, thank you! However, now we are in need of new non-skid socks. These are the best types of socks to warm the feet and toes of residents in our local nursing homes and assisted living facilities.Our youth will be at every door before and after all weekend Masses. During the week, please drop off socks in the vestibule, at the front entrance.
40 Days for Life
Babies and parents are being saved from the tragedy of abortion all over the world during the 40 Days for Life campaigns! Please sign-up after Mass and join us in peaceful prayer outside Planned Parenthood, at 1696 SE Hillmore Dr., Port St. Lucie, FL. Come and see what God does in this next Fall campaign in our local community which began on Wednesday, September 22nd and ends on Sunday, October 31st!
We are asking volunteers to sign up for two hours each week during the six weeks of the campaign. Your prayers and presence at the vigil site do make a difference! Over 15,000 children are alive now because of people like you who chose to love them and their parents! Many women have told us that the reason they changed their minds and chose life was because they saw people like you peacefully praying for them right outside the abortion center. Come be Christ’s merciful love on the sidewalk and allow Him to love others through you! He has no other hands or feet except us in this world. Saints Simon and Jude, Apostles

Jude is so named by Luke and Acts. Matthew and Mark call him Thaddeus. He is not mentioned elsewhere in the Gospels, except of course where all the apostles are mentioned. Scholars hold that he is not the author of the Letter of Jude. Actually, Jude had the same name as Judas Iscariot. Evidently because of the disgrace of that name, it was shortened to “Jude” in English.
Simon is mentioned on all four lists of the apostles. On two of them he is called “the Zealot.” The Zealots were a Jewish sect that represented an extreme of Jewish nationalism. For them, the messianic promise of the Old Testament meant that the Jews were to be a free and independent nation. God alone was their king, and any payment of taxes to the Romans—the very domination of the Romans—was a blasphemy against God. No doubt some of the Zealots were the spiritual heirs of the Maccabees, carrying on their ideals of religion and independence. But many were the counterparts of modern terrorists. They raided and killed, attacking both foreigners and “collaborating” Jews. They were chiefly responsible for the rebellion against Rome which ended in the destruction of Jerusalem in A.D. 70.

Why should people avoid using Ouija boards?
Exorcists have warned Catholics against using Ouija boards. Philip Kosloski writes: “While someone using the board may not have the intention of calling a demonic spirit, the act of using the Ouija board is a form of divination (discovering hidden knowledge through supernatural means) and is very real.”
