High School Students are invited to the Youth Center for pumpkin carving, a bonfire, S'mores, Flapdoodles ice cream, hot chocolate, lawn games, glow in the dark volleyball, and more. If its raining we'll do everything inside minus the fire. No cost for this event. Bring your friends! Contact Anna or Zach for more info.
Teen Halloween Karaoke
6-9 pm Oct 30 | St. James Coffee
Teens are welcome to get up on stage and sing to their hearts content (appropriate songs of course). Or they can just sing along from the crowd and enjoy the show. Snacks provided. Drinks for available for purchase. No need reserve a spot! Come for one or all three hours.

National Catholic Youth Conference
November 18-20 | Indianapolis, IN
Last Call - Wednesday is our Deadline
Every other year 20,000 young Catholics from all over the US gather in Indianapolis for NCYC. Students get to hear from popular Catholic speakers, participate in workshops and activities, experience Mass and prayer unlike any other time. It is often a life changing experience for many young people. We are wondering if there is anybody out there who would like to attend (details below).
Conference Details
Travel Dates
We know this trip is only a month a way, but we'e had some recent interest and want to see if there is enough interest out there to get a group to go. The Conference runs Thursday-Sunday November 18-20. Depending on interest we could leave Wednesday November 17.
Fundraising
Fundraising
We will be able to offer fundraising for this trip after the fact through Solid Foundations and some other fundraising efforts. Almost always students who participate in our fundraisers end up raising enough to pay for their entire trip (minus the down payment). The final payment for NCYC would be collected in June 2022.
Cost
We haven't set an official cost yet but it will be in the ballpark of $600-$700 which will include transportation, conference registration, hotel, breakfast, and some dinners.
To reserve your spot we need to know that you want to come (email or call us) and then we'll need a $200 down payment. Adults are welcome as well, contact Anna or Zach if you are interested in coming.

Virus Note
NCYC will require proof of vaccine or a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the opening session on Thursday. They will also require masks to be worn in Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indianapolis Convention Center.

Unite Ministries is a collaborative effort among the youth ministry offices of the Rochester Area Catholic Parishes with the mission to:
- Unite young people with one another
- Ignite a love for Jesus Christ and his Church
- Invite young people to respond to that love
We come together for various events, trips, training/leadership development opportunities, Masses, etc... you will hear more about Unite Ministries as we get back to doing in general!

Welcome to Pax Christi Anna!
Hello, my name is Anna Nordquist and I am the new Coordinator of Youth Ministry at Pax Christi. I was born and raised in Fairmont, MN where I lived with my parents and four siblings. In Fairmont, I attended St. John Vianney Catholic grade school, then moved to Fairmont Junior-Senior High School in 7th grade where I graduated from in 2019. I then attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in University Studies and minors in Catholic Studies, Theology, and History. This past summer I was a member of Totus Tuus, a youth catechetical summer program, as the team leader. I look forward to being a part of Pax Christi Church and working to inflame the hearts and minds of young people in the love of God.

Bible in a Year Podcast
Fr. Mike Schmitz is hosting a daily podcast (about 20 min/day on average) that will take you through the entire Bible in a Year! I have been listening and it is awesome! You should definitely check it out. It isn’t too late to start your day one!
