Greetings Church Friends and Family, A quick thought this week:
“12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.” (Ps. 51:12, NIV)
How do you protect your heart? We all know “For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” (Matthew 12:34). Your heart is your life. We can expound on that a lot, but one thing stands out: Your heart is the place where you experience God.
We need to become sensitive to God’s voice in our lives. We’re too busy, too rushed.
It’s a problem of the heart because it’s your heart that tells you it’s going well between you and God; it’s your heart that tells you the Lord is with you, in you, and that He is satisfied, that everything is going well.
It is also your heart that gets cold, and suddenly you’re just living every day. You’re just going through the routine and motions, and you miss that still small voice of the Lord; you miss his participation, love, vision, calling. It’s your heart where all this good is happening.
We need to help and support each other every day to keep our hearts healthy.
Web & Social Media
For those of you who have offered to volunteer, we are currently developing the contracts to go alongside the distribution of passwords, and non-disclosure statements. We will get back to you shortly.
We will be making some adjustments to our social media accounts shortly, as far as our handles are concerned, once our church name has officially been approved and voted. (More on this later). Since we seem to have lost Admin rights to our Facebook account (we’ve had to create a new one) - We are still trying to acquire admin rights to the KSCS Facebook page (if you can help, please contact Pr. Eugene). For right now, please visit and like/follow us at:
We recently added the last few weeks’ worth of locally preached sermons … We are trying our best while we do not have access to good quality AV equipment at the moment. Thank you for your patience. Please consider making a financial donation directly to the AV department, to help acquire proper camera and streaming equipment to serve you better.

Sermon
Sermon this week by Pr. Kevin Wells: Listening heart: The Kindness of God.
Scripture: “Be angry, and do not sin. Meditate within your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah” (Psalm 4:4, NKJV)
We’ve all heard the admonition to stop and listen. The need to do just this should be more obvious now than ever before. Our society is being pulled asunder, not because of a lack of passion or desire, but because of an inability of people to listen to people; and more precisely, an inability of individual persons to listen to individual persons. This, of course, is a direct result of our failure to listen to God. If we are to have healing in our lives, families, and church, we must listen to the voice of God and his call to repentance, life, and fellowship.
God will provide us a heart to listen to him if we are humble and willing to receive.
