Happy Thursday!
I hope everyone has enjoyed the past two weeks and is excited for what's ahead!
Way back when, at our last meeting, we finished our three-part series on prayer. We talked about the importance of setting prayer non-negotiables (our basic commitment to daily/weekly/monthly prayer) and the necessity of accountability, having someone walk with us on our journey. We had the youth write out their prayer non-negotiables, then get to know their accountability partner, share their non-negotiables, and pray together.
I'm also including this document about adding daily prayer into our routines!
This week, we're combining Carpe Diem and Vita Nova for a Fall Festival!!
From 4-6pm, all middle and high schoolers are welcome to join some friendly competition for small prizes. Come dressed to play!
Parents, please join us!! Our faithful youth leaders are running the night, as I will be out of town; they could use parents' help with running stations, chaperoning, setting up snack, and taking pictures!!

- Thank you to everyone who donated to or participated in our RISE Against Hunger Meal Packaging Event! We packaged over 3000 meals and were very sad to be finished... Praying you can join us again next time!
- We are once again partnering with the Knights of Columbus in their essay writing contest. Please see the bulletin for more information!
- Parents (especially dads!!) - we are looking for youth leaders to actively participate at our youth nights. You don't need to be qualified, you don't need to know what's happening, all you need is to feel called by the Lord! Remember, your youth may not want you there, but they NEED you to witness a real relationship with Jesus to them.
- Next Saturday, 10/30, from 7-8pm, is our annual Trunk-or-Treat! Carpe Diem and Vita Nova families are invited to decorate your car trunks, bring some candy, and join us for a night of fun!
- Next Sunday, 10/31, Vita Nova will go trick-or-canning (collecting canned goods for CPO). More information will come next week.
- Please mark your calendars on Saturday, 11/6 from 7-9pm! We are having a bingo night fundraiser to raise money for Youth Ministry. Watch for emails about how you can help!!
