Consecration to St. Joseph
Monday, November 1, there will be a second, bilingual Mass to celebrate All Saints Day. Parishioners who have been in preparation will make their Consecration to St. Joseph at this Mass.
Weight on the Lord
We are about to embark on the holiday season or shall we call it the “eating season?” Join us at Weight on the Lord (WOTL) to use the word of God to help us achieve our health goals. We are a free program open to both men and women who want to make their body a temple for the Holy Spirit. “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, which you have from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Join us for our next meeting this Tuesday, October 26, at 10 o’clock in the Meeting House.
Dinner Help Still Needed
After the bad car accident they were in, Daniel and Robin Fimano are in need of meals while they are home recovering. Recovery will be a long road as they both sustained substantial injuries. If you are able to help by delivering a meal you can follow the link below
Knights of Columbus Membership Drive
The Knights will be conducting a membership drive in the vestibule of the church before and after the Vigil and Sunday Masses on Oct. 23, 24, 30 and 31. All Catholic men, in good standing with the church, age 18 and above, are welcome and enjoined to stop by the information booth in the vestibule to find
out more about the Knights and how they serve the parish, local communities, State of Georgia, the Nation, and the worlds communities that are in distress due to persecution and/or natural disasters.

Youth Group
Youth Group will meet Oct. 24 from 5 to 7 this month. All High School and Confirmation students are encouraged to attend to share in faith, good company, prayer, and fun. Dinner will be provided.
Important Notice about Virtus Training
Attention ALL new Volunteers or anyone who has not completed Virtus training. Virtus volunteer training is scheduled here at St. Francis on Oct 30 from 9 to 12. Please go to VIRTUS.org to create an account and register. This training is required per the diocese as part of the church's effort to keep children in our Parish safe. Wreaths Across America
As we have in the past, the Knights of Columbus is again participating in the Wreaths Across America program.
On Saturday, December 18, Wreaths Across America will conduct a coordinated wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery as well as over 2,100 additional locations in all 50 states, at sea and abroad.
The Knights are sponsoring wreaths and will participate in the actual wreath-laying ceremony at our nearby Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA.

Knights Oktoberfest Dinner
The Knights of Columbus will be selling tickets for their Oktoberfest Dinner Social before and after each Saturday Vigil and Sunday Masses in the vestibule of the church. Tickets are $15.00/person. The dinner will take place on October 23, 2021, from 6:00 to 9:00PM in Marian Hall. We hope to see you there for an evening of good food and fun!

It’s not too late to invite relatives, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances to participate in the Inquiry Period of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This is the “come and see” time – a time for finding out more about the faith and traditions of the Catholic Church. In person meetings take place on

There will be a Motorcycle Ride and Retreat on Monday, October 4 (weather permitting) beginning at 10:00. We will meet at the church at 10:00 for a short talk and then ride to Dahlonega for lunch and conversation. Then we'll take a leisurely ride back to Blairsville.
