On hearing that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, son of David, have pity on me." And many rebuked him, telling him to be silent. (From Mark 10:46-52)
Many might tell us to be quiet when it comes to expressing our faith. Many might rebuke us for crying out to Jesus. But, my sisters and brothers in Christ, we don’t need to worry about the many, we only need to focus on the 3 in 1–Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! When we cry out to God, we will be heard and we will be transformed to love, to serve, to be compassionate, to be kind, to forgive, and we ourselves will be healed! Don’t be silent today, but cry out to God and know you will be heard by who matters most! Amen!
