Saturday, November 6, 2021—St. John Capistran Church
Rosary for the Deceased - 9:30 am
Mass of Remembrance - 10:00 am
Family Luncheon - 11:30 am
Each year, the Church sets aside the month of November as a special time for us to remember, through prayer and action, deceased family members and friends. All Souls Day, November 2nd, is dedicated to praying for the souls and honoring the lives of all who have entered eternal life during the past year.
This year, we will remember the faithful departed from Resurrection Parish in a special way, with a Mass of Remembrance at St. John Capistran Church on Saturday, November 6th. During Mass, the names of the deceased will be read, as family members light candles in their memory. Prior to Mass the rosary will be said for the repose of their souls.
If you have experienced the loss of a loved one from November 2020, to the present, please plan to attend this special Mass of Remembrance. A luncheon invitation for your family will be mailed to the “next of kin” listed in the parish records.
For those who cannot attend, members of the Bereavement Ministry and Ladies of Charity will light the candle when your loved one’s name is read. Please contact the parish office with any questions.
