Tuesday is All Souls Day. Masses at 9:00 a.m. in Hull and 7:00 p.m. in Cohasset.
Remembering Those Who Have Died This Year
During the month of November, which begins with the celebration of All Saints and All Souls, we, the church, are called in a special way “to remember our brothers and sisters who have gone to their rest”.
At every Saturday afternoon and Sunday Mass in both parishes on the weekend of November 6th and 7th, we will have a special remembrance of those who have died during the past year. Those whose funerals were celebrated in our parishes during the past year will automatically be included on the list of those to be remembered.
You are invited to include the names of family members and friends who have died since November 1, 2020. but whose funerals were celebrated elsewhere. The deadline to submit names for inclusion in the Annual Memorial Masses is noon on Tuesday, November 2.
For Saint Anthony of Padua Parish: Email Father Scott (fatherscott@christbythesea.net) or call him at 781-383-0219, ext. 15 by noon on Tuesday, November 2.
For Saint Mary of the Assumption Parish: Email Fr. Will (fatherwill@christbythesea.net) or call him at 781-383-0219, ext. 21 by noon on Tuesday, November 2.
The Mass will include a reading of the names of all those we are remembering. We pray that these Masses will be a time for you to experience both comfort in your sorrow and great hope for the future.
Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 7. Make sure to "fall back" one hour before going to bed on Saturday evening or you'lll arrive an hour early for Mass on Sunday!
