Collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development
Please be generous in November 18th and 19th's collection (this weekend!) for the Catholic Campaign For Human Development. In the United States, one in six people live in poverty. With this collection you support programs that address the causes of poverty and provide a sustainable future for those who are struggling. In addition, 25% of funds collected remains in our diocese to fund local projects. Please consider how you can support. Thanksgiving Information
The parish office will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th. However, there will still be mass on Thanksgiving Day.
Drop 'N Shop Babysitting
Itching to finish off your Christmas shopping-- without your kids? St. Francis has you covered! On December 2nd from 12-5pm in the church basement, students from Cardinal Catholic will be hanging out and babysitting any children whose parents want to shop without their little ones knowing what they got! Thoughts for the Weekend:
NCYC (the National Catholic Youth Conference) is a biyearly conference that brings high schoolers all across the United States to one location to celebrate their Catholic faith in the one of the most joyous ways: fellowship. Thousands upon thousands of attendees (both students and chaperones) attend every year-- generally, there will be most than 20,000 people in person at the conference!
And it's happening right now in Indianapolis.
Think about it. All of those people, young and old, praying and putting their trust into Christ.
Even if you aren't there, there are still things to be learned through it. Where are you finding fellowship in your faith? Joy? Prayer? Do you celebrate your faith and your brothers and sisters in Christ? What can you do to bring all of that into your faith?
