Hello, Faith-Filled Families!
I was very impressed with the gifts and talents your children have and how they can be used to build the kingdom of God! If you haven't sent your pictures for the vocations lesson please send them soon!
As we put away our flip flops and shorts and pull out our cold weather gear we take stock of what still fits and what we need to get through the next season. Just as each season of the year has gifts, the church calendar has times with different gifts and rituals, and even different colors! In this week's lesson you will learn about the seasons of the Church. Did you know that the liturgical year starts on the first weekend of Advent?
The most important thing your children can learn is that although everything around us changes, God's love stays constant. He is always here to listen to us, comfort us, strengthen us, and give us hope. When we spend time with Him we stock up on spiritual gifts, which will always fit and never wear out!
Make sure you read all the directions because there is a lot for you to add to the Liturgical calendar!
Please reach out if you have any questions!
