As a banker, I have always looked forward to the month of October with the release of the 3rd quarter earnings results being made public via live conference calls and press releases. As we all know, the earnings results are essential to the public and investors alike because the financial data found on the balance sheet and income statement become one of the key indicators of how well a company performs during the summer months and prior to the start of the holiday season.
I believe we can apply the same optimism toward our church's financial reports released at the end of September. We have been blessed by the faithfulness of this wonderful congregation, and their acts of generosity are highlighted below:
- Azure Hills Children's Center has a positive YTD Net Operating Income, and enrollment has significantly increased month over month (27 FTE in July, 34 FTE in August, and 43 FTE in September).
- Azure Hills Church has received $2MM in Tithe as of the end of September, an increase of $314K or 18% compared to 2020 Giving.
- Azure Hills Church has received $510K in Vision in Action (VIA) as of the end of September, an increase of $42K or 9% compared to 2020 Giving.
A sound financial report, nonetheless, identifies not only the strength of its balance sheet but also the incoming headwinds. We have set an Annual Budget of $1.12MM for Vision in Action (VIA), and WE are in need of your SUPPORT to meet our operating income since 23% of VIA contributions are received in the month of December.
I hope the Azure Hills Children's Center Report and the Azure Hills Church Financial Report will spark the spirit of generosity and thanksgiving in each of you.
