During this month when we celebrate All Saints and All Souls days, consider coming to spend a morning with the four St. Teresas: St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Therese of Lisieux, and St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross (Edith Stein). Join Corinne Cathcart in the Social Hall as she “opens a window” into the stories of the holy lives of these women through art, prayer, and meditation. You will want to invite your mothers, sisters, aunts, daughters, cousins, neighbors, and friends to this morning of community and connection, as we reflect on the lives of these four women and how their lives might inform our own living.

The Parishes of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Blessed Sacrament invite you to join Sr. Janet Schaeffler, OP from 9:00-2:00 as she leads us on an Advent retreat. Sr. Janet will provide opportunities to support our Advent journey through reflective input, prayer, music, quiet time and conversations as we look at this season from a new perspective.
As I'm finishing up this note, I'm looking out my family room window at golden leaves and white snowflakes... God is a wonderful artist!! It made me think of our closing hymn at Mass today, "How Great Thou Art," which then brought to mind another wonderful song, "You're Beautiful." Enjoy!
