On this last Sunday of the liturgical year, we celebrate the
Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe
Christ the King of the Universe, this solemnity, is a liturgical festival established in 1925 by Pius XI. Due to the rejection of the lordship of Christ, we want to remember that Christ must be the center of our lives, he must have primacy in the hearts of families and societies around the world. Reminding everyone that the Lord Jesus should be the center of our lives. So the question should be today? Does Christ reign in my life, in my family, in my actions? Or am I one of the Catholics who seek Christ when we are in need?
Let Christ reign in our families, in our decisions, in my actions each day. May Christ the King become the strength and grace of our weaknesses and confusions. Let us thank God every day for being able to see the light of day, for food, for family, work, health, and for so many other things. But above all, let us thank him for his love and mercy. At the end of one more liturgical year, let us say thank you because he allowed us to be His sons and daughters and to be able to follow him and protect ourselves under his protection.
Thanksgiving should be every day of the year and every moment lived and grateful to God for his presence, this week we dedicate our prayers of thanks to Him, to others, to those who live with me, and to those who daily remember me.
New things will come in this new liturgical year, let God always work in us. Let us be his followers and fulfill his commandment to love others as myself.
The word of God continues to be the powerful resource for our meditation that this end and beginning of the liturgical year we give us the opportunity to read and meditate on his word, pray with it, make our decisions with it, and may Christ the King be our banner and shield. Let us not miss the first liturgical season of the Christian year to put that saving and senatorial word at the center of our family. Pray every Sunday with the word of God as you light the advent candle. God invites us to put our hearts and families in Him.

Cristo Rey del Universo, esta solemnidad, es una festividad litúrgica establecida desde 1925 por Pío XI. Debido al rechazo que había del señorío de Cristo, se quiere recordar que Cristo debe ser el centro de nuestras vidas, debe tener primacía en los corazones de las familias, sociedades de todo el mundo. Probablemente es lo mismo hoy, recordarles a todos que el Señor Jesus debe ser el centro de nuestras vidas. Por eso la pregunta debe ser hoy, ? Reina Cristo en mi vida, en mi familia, en mis acciones? O soy de los católicos que busco a Cristo cuando estamos en necesidades?
Dejemos a Cristo reinar en nuestras familias, en nuestras decisiones, en mis actos de cada día. Que Cristo Rey se convierta en la fuerza y gracia de nuestras debilidades y confusiones.
Agradezcamos a Dios cada día por poder ver la luz del día, por los alimentos, por la familia, el trabajo, la salud y por tantas cosas mas. Pero sobre todo démosle gracias por su amor y misericordia. Al finalizar un ano litúrgico mas, digámosle gracias porque nos dejo ser sus hijos e hijas y poder seguirlo y ampararnos bajo su protección.
Acción de gracias debe ser todo los días del ano y cada momento vivido y agradecidos con Dios por su presencia, esta semana dediquemos nuestras oraciones a decidirle gracias a El, a los demás, a los que viven conmigo y a los que diariamente se acuerdan de mi. Cosas nuevas llegaran en este nuevo ano litúrgico, dejemos a Dios obrar siempre en nosotros. Seamos sus seguidores y cumplamos su mandamiento de Amar al Prójimo como a mi mismo.
La palabra de Dios sigue siendo el poderoso recurso para nuestra meditación que este fin y comienzo del ano litúrgico démonos la oportunidad de leer y meditar su palabra, orar con ella, tomar nuestras decisiones con ella , y que Cristo Rey sea nuestra bandera y escudo. No dejemos pasar el adviento primer tiempo litúrgico de ano cristiano para poner en el centro de nuestra familia esa palabra salvadora y senadora. Ora cada domingo con la palabra de Dios mientras enciendes la vela de adviento. Dios nos invita a poner nuestro corazón y familia en El.

At the 10 AM Mass, kids ages 3-8 yrs old are invited to join our Children's Liturgy to hear the Mass readings and explanations at an age-appropriate level while adults stay in church and focus wholly on the Word of God.
