Greetings all! We have so much to share with you! We will be splitting this weekly email into two! We kicked off our Grand Annual Campaign last weekend, below is a copy of Fr. JT's letter to parishioners. Parishioners on our mailing list will be receiving a hard copy of this and more in a week or two. We also kicked off our Grateful Discipleship Campaign which looks at pledging our time and talent as well as treasure. Fr. JT's letter regarding Grateful Discipleship will be sent out following this email. We gently ask you to reflect and pray for our parish as we always pray for you.

FROM THE PASTOR'S DESK
ST. ISIDORE PARISH 2021-2022 GRAND ANNUAL COLLECTION
Beloved Parishioners,
Greetings from your pastor. It’s my hope that you’re doing well. May I thank you for the support you’ve continued to give to our St. Isidore Parish, especially in these past ten months I’ve been your pastor. It has been quite a challenging time for so many of us, but the work of God here in our parish continues because of the support of many parishioners.
It’s that time of the year for our parish Grand Annual Financial Campaign. As you already know, this Grand Annual Collection remains a very important part of our parish financial structure that supplements our weekly offertory collection. The two help in running the parish and maintaining our buildings/facilities.
The success of this campaign is even more urgent now that major repairs are requiring urgent attention at all our three churches. A recent assessment/evaluation of our facilities indicates that some major repairs will need to be carried out to prevent further damages to buildings. These will run into many thousands of dollars. We are unable to handle all of them at the same time.
For this Grand Annual year, St. Isidore Parish plans to begin some repair work on the tower of the Sacred Heart church, on the Front elevation of the Saints Martha & Mary church, and on the stained-glass windows and masonry repairs at the Saint Rose of Lima church. These repairs will, however, depend largely on how well parishioners respond to this 2021-22 Grand Annual Collection. We hope strongly that many will respond generously.
This time and need call for sacrifice from parishioners. To effect the required repairs of the facilities, the St. Isidore Finance Council and myself are asking that you consider a sacrificial donation of a minimum of $350 to this year’s Grand Annual Collection. If you’re unable to reach this target, kindly do the much you can, and if you’re able to put in a little more to help in the repairs, kindly do not hesitate to offer that additional help. It is our expectation that if most of our parishioners across our three churches participate actively in this collection, we can get close to the budget that will make the targeted repairs for this Grand Annual year possible.
Know that you can use the Grand Annual envelope for your donation, or use the Grand Annual line item in the St. Isidore Parish online giving platform.
Before I conclude, may I thank you for your anticipated participation in this Grand Annual Collection and for your continued support to our parish.
In advance, wishing you and your loved ones a happy thanksgiving.
Fr. JT
