Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King! It is the last Sunday in Ordinary Time before we start Advent next weekend. Time flies! This Feast should always remind us that Jesus Christ should be King and center of each of our hearts. He should have the rule over our lives. Is there a step we can take to put Christ the King back in the center.
Christ the King Mass Times: 4:30 tonight (Saturday) & Sunday: 7:30, 9:30, and 11:30. Please note that we will be livestreaming the 7:30 Mass this weekend instead of the 9:30.
Thanksgiving: Mass will be at 9:00 in the Church. Please join us to thank the Lord for all our blessings. There will be no confessions at 7:15 that morning.
Also, following Thanksgiving Mass we will have a blessing of food items. Please bring your Thanksgiving meal food items to the front of the Church after Mass for a blessing.
Adoration: Our adoration hours this week will be normal. Wednesday 8:30am - 7:00pm. Friday 8:30am - 10:00pm. Please stop by and spend sometime with Jesus!
Christmas Trees and Giving Tree: The Knights of Columbus will be selling Christmas trees outside in front of the school gym beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving. Also, our Giving Tree will be up this week!
Have a blessed week!
God bless you all,
Fr. John
