Wanted: Christmas Cards! The Social Justice Ministry will collect Christmas cards (along with Jefferson Elementary School) for residents at Bishop Place, Regency, Avalon, and Pioneer Square for this Christmas. Last year we delivered cards to over 300 residents of care facilities. There will be a box labeled Christmas Care Cards in the church entrance from December 5 to 21 for dropping off cards. There will be blank cards and paper on a table inside the double doors of the reconciliation room on weekends starting November 28, and outside those doors during the week, for those who would like to pick up blank cards to write in or make their own cards. Last year the personal notes and homemade cards were greatly appreciated by the residents of these facilities!
If you would like to offer a Mass for a loved one, living or deceased, please email msutherland@dioceseofspokane.org or mail a note to the office with your (optional) stipend. Sacred Heart Parish, 440 NE Ash St, Pullman, WA 99163.
