We hope you had a great Thanksgiving! This past Sunday marked the beginning of Advent which means Christmas is just 4 weeks away. The change of seasons gives rise to many important traditions including Giving Tuesday which is held tomorrow!
We encourage you to be generous to charities that are important to you during Giving Tuesday. This day of giving helps make the world a better place in so many ways. We also ask that you participate in the Saint Andrew Giving Tuesday campaign asking us to STEP UP!
Our campaign on Giving Tuesday is to fund the replacement of a safety hazard and eye sore on the front steps of our church. If everyone can STEP UP, even a little, we'll be able to fund this important project which will help those in need feel safe entering the church and leave a positive impression with our guests. Please GIVE on this day of national generosity.
Below are a few other key notifications for Saint Andrew Parish for the week ahead.
Giving Tree Update
The annual Giving Tree began this past Sunday and thankfully dozens of ornaments were taken! Each ornament taken represents a commitment by a donor to provide warm gloves and mittens to students at St. Mary of the Lake school in Uptown. Get an ornament at school drop off / pick up or at Sunday Mass next week. You can also email Julie Richards for more information about ornaments or to support this project by volunteering your time.
