1. (11/29 - 12/1) Let's Talk about Forgiveness
Brother Zachary Wilberding, OSB, a monk of St. Meinrad’s Archabbey, will be at St. Tom's from 7 to 8PM on 11/29, 11/30, and 12/1 to talk to us about "Advent: Journey to Forgiveness!" Each day, he will be talking about different topics, but you do not need to be at one to understand the next. (So if you go to the first one, miss the second, and then go to the third, that's fine!) All other parish activities that usually occur between 7PM and 8PM on those days are CANCELLED, so come to these talks!
2. (now until 12/6) Donate Granola Bars for the Homeless :)
Everyone! Bring Granola Bars to St. Tom's any day between now and December 6th to help feed the hungry. You can also donate single serve oatmeal and cereal! Look for a box in the gathering space or drop them off in the office.
This is also a great way to use those extra Meal Swipes at the different On-the-Go markets on campus! Email justicewithpeace@boilercatholics.org with any questions.

College men: Have you ever considered the priesthood or religious life? Men's Discernment group invites you to attend an evening of adoration, a meal, and a discussion on topics related to discernment. We'll meet Tuesday, December 7th at 7pm in the Church.

7PM Tuesday 12/7. The November topic for
Theology on Tap is entitled "Advent and Franciscan Joy: exploring the joys of Our Lady" Franciscan Sisters Ignatia Henneberry and Regina DeVreese will help us explore the incarnational spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi. A form of the Rosary called The Franciscan Crown serves as a great framework to walk with Our Lady through the joys of her life. She will teach us how to wait for the Lord’s coming with expectant hope, a perfect Advent topic!

7. (12/1) Boiler Catholics Officer Elections during Wednesday Night Mass

8. (12/8) Calling ALL Ignite groups and ALL those wishing to join an Ignite group!
Wednesday, December 8, at 7pm downstairs in the Siena rooms there will be an all Ignite social! All ignite groups and those interested in joining an ignite group are invited downstairs for snacks, fellowship, and a cookie decorating contest! We will be providing supplies for cookie decorating at the event. :)

10. (12/1, 12/8) Students Mass -- Wednesday Night Mass
Bring a friend and join fellow students for Mass at 9pm every Wednesday. We hope you can make it! Chant choir will be singing for every fourth Wednesday of the month. Also, we will serve hot chocolate after Mass!

EVERYone! :D Las Posadas is a Catholic Mexican tradition that commemorates the journey that Joseph and Mary made to Bethlehem for the birth of Jesus. You ALL are invited to join in celebration! Come to St. Tom's, downstairs in Newman Hall. The event starts at 6PM and goes until 8PM on Friday December 3. Join us for traditional food, singing, and fellowship!!!
16. (12/3) A FREE dinner and meet people from different cultures! (Bridges of Hospitality)
Everyone!! Starting at 6PM, come to the Siena Rooms, downstairs at St. Tom's to meet Purdue students of different cultures and eat a meal together. Bridges of Hospitality invites YOU! Come for food, leave with some new friends :D

Everyone! Every Friday this semester at 8PM in the Church, we have an hour of adoration with praise and worship, quiet reflection, and spiritual talks. With snacks after!!!
18. (12/4) Silent Auction... *SHHHH*
Everyone! On Saturday, December 4th at 5:30PM in the Gather Space, there will be a Silent Auction. They will be selling things like a Rosary Hanger, a One Dozen Banana Muffins, a Holy Family Nativity Statue, and more!!! :D
19. (12/5) Commissioning of the new Boiler Catholics Officers during 7PM Mass
Our new Boiler Catholics Officers are being voted for after 9PM Wednesday Night Mass on 12/1, and the students who win will be commissioned during 7PM Sunday Mass on December 5th!! Come and support your new officers! :))

We have Sunday Night Dinner every Sunday for only $3 at 5:30PM in Newman Hall. Bring a friend! Eat, socialize, and have a grand ol' time.
