Good evening!
What a busy week ahead of us as the Christmas concert is right around the corner, our class field trip to the Ronald McDonald House nears and we prepare our hearts and minds for Christ's birthday celebration in only 13 short days!
The newsletter attached has many important tidbits of info. that you will want to be in the know about. Please open and read it.
Also, please see the Wish List attachment before we attend our field trip this Thursday! If you would like to contribute to our donation collection, please send your item(s) to school with your child on or before Thursday. I know that all the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House would very much appreciate your generosity during this holiday season! Listed on the Wish List is milk and eggs. These items are obviously not the best choices to have us take on on field trip to the Ronald McDonald House so please consider other items on the list when purchasing your donation(s).
As noted on the Wish List- **Please note: due to the sensitive lungs of many ofthe children staying at RMHC, we request items come from a smoke free environment, especiallyfabric items and toys.
I would love if any of you would like to join us on our trip to the Ronald McDonald House. If so, please shoot me an email or text to let me know you'd like to come along! It is a trip that does not disappoint and is very eye opening for all the second graders during this time of year. They realize how much it means to give than to receive.
Lastly, I have posted the updated second grade snack schedule in this Flocknote. If you would prefer a printed copy, let me know and I can make and send a copy home with your child. To save on paper, I decided to just send it electronically at this time.
I am excited to see you all on Wednesday evening! The second graders sang their little hearts out this morning at practice. I can't wait to hear and see how they do at the actual concert!
God Bless,
Mrs. Eichelberger
